Biography
阿蘭·古斯（Alan Harvey Guth，1947年—）是美國理論物理學家與宇宙學家，麻省理工學院物理學教授，宇宙暴脹模型的提出者。
他1968年從麻省理工學院物理系畢業，並在同校取得碩士與博士。1979年他在康奈爾大學形成暴脹的想法，1981年正式提出：極早期的宇宙曾因正的真空能量密度而經歷一段指數式膨脹。2014年，他與 Alexei Starobinsky、Andrei Linde 因這項理論共同獲得卡夫里獎。
