Privacy Policy

This is a translation. If it differs from the Traditional Chinese version, the Chinese version prevails.

This policy explains what data Zi Wei Dou Shu ("the Site") collects, how it is used, and how you can manage it.

Data we collect

• Account data: when you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
• Chart data: the name, gender, date and time of birth, birthplace (including coordinates) and relatives you enter when you create a chart, and the notes you write.
• Booking data: the questions you submit when you book a practitioner, the charts you choose to share, and the messages exchanged during the booking.
• Practitioner data: the profile, services and availability you provide when you apply to become a practitioner.
• Technical data: your IP address (to prevent abuse), cookies for your sign-in state and language preference, and interface settings stored in your browser.
• Usage statistics: the production site uses Google Analytics and Meta Pixel to count page views. Only the page path is sent, never chart content.

You can cast charts without signing in. In that case the birth data you enter is only used to calculate the chart and is not saved to an account.

How we use data

• To provide charts, saved charts and notes, practitioner bookings and other features.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.
• To understand usage and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal data.

Sharing data

• Practitioners: a practitioner can see the charts and booking details you share only when you book them and choose to share a chart.
• Service providers: the Site uses Google (sign-in, maps and time zone lookup, Analytics), Meta (Pixel) and cloud hosting and storage services. These providers process data as needed to provide their services.
• Legal requirements: we may have to provide data when required by law or by the authorities.

Chart images you download or share embed that chart's birth data so the chart can be reopened later. Please keep this in mind before sharing them.

Other people's data

When you create charts for family, friends or clients, make sure you are entitled to provide their birth data.

Retention and deletion

You can edit or delete your charts and notes on the chart page at any time. To delete your account, or to access, correct or stop the use of your personal data, please email us at [email protected] and we will handle it as soon as possible. Records of confirmed bookings may be kept for a period to resolve disputes or comply with the law.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and show the date of the update.
